Bacta Environmental, Inc. provides maintenance of your septic system components, including your aerobic unit. We maintain all kinds of systems, from Conventional Trenches, to At-Grade and Wisconsin Mound systems, to Sand Filter and Peat Biofilter systems, to Surface Discharge with Chlorinator or UV Disinfection, to systems with Constructed Wetlands. We provide the following services in our maintenance contracts:
1) Perform an effluent quality inspection including a visual and odor examination over all components of your system and your field, not just one component. You need to know that your entire system is functioning properly, not just one component.
2) If you have a Peat Biofilter system, we will open them up and check the peat and hardware to insure it is in proper working condition.
3) We will clean or replace any filters in the lift station or compressor. Filters in air compressors should be replaced at least once/year.
4) Test run sewage pump.
5) Determine if the tanks or aerobic unit (if appl.) need pumping.
